Week 91

This week was Great! We worked a tonnnnnnnnnnn. Our ward is super awesome we were able to spend almost every day in divisions. We basically have created our area into two. My companion always works in one half and I in the other. its a bit funny because we have a ton of investigators that I don't know or that he doesn't know but its so great that we have this opportunity to help more of Gods children.

Recently we{ve been focusing on our purpose as missionaries. Sometimes we forget who we are and what we have become. Its something that really has touched me and helped to have the strength to keep working. I know that we are children of a Heavenly Father. There is so much power in that statement. He really does love us and every one of his children.

I had two cool experiences this week:
1- We were heading towards the church one night, a member and I, to finish the splits when we turned a corner. There was a girl there sweeping her porch and instantly I received the impression that I needed to talk with her. Her name is Jesica. After talking a few minutes she accepted us in the house and we were able to talk with her family. Its a family of 10! I only meet 6 of the 10 but I love the feeling that you get for following an impression of the spirit and knowing that you did what God wanted you to do.

2- Last night we were walking down the street and it was deserted except for a man that was in the door of his house chilling. I felt the same impression to go and talk to him. As we talked with him I could feel the spirit so strong as I testified of the restoration and the family, in the end he decided that he didn't have time to listen and we departed. As we were walking I thought in that moment and I thought in the conference talk I heard that said "as we testify of the truth the spirit will testify to us". I'm grateful for all the opportunities that I have every day to testify of Christ.
